Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard
For 30 years, Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard was located at one of the oldest continuously operated vineyards in California, originally established in 1863 as the Jarvis Brothers Vineyard. Ken Burnap started the winery in 1975, setting out to make the finest Pinot Noir possible in California. Ken had done years of research into what conditions were necessary to produce good Pinot Noir, and the Santa Cruz Mountains region ended up being his final choice as the area with the greatest potential for excellent wines. The first release under the Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard label was the highly regarded 1975 vintage. Visit Website
Birichino Winery Tasting Room
Alex Krause and John Locke founded Birichino in Santa Cruz in 2008. Drawing on a combined four decades making wine in California, France, Italy, and beyond, they are focused on attaining the perfect balance of perfume, poise, and puckishness. Sourcing from a number of carefully farmed, family-owned, own-rooted 19th and early 20th century vineyards (and a few from the late disco era) planted by and large in more moderate, marine-influenced climates, their preoccupation is to safeguard the quality and vibrancy of their raw materials. Their preference is for minimal intervention, most often favoring native fermentations, employing stainless or neutral barrels, minimal racking and fining, and avoiding filtration altogether when possible. But most critically, their aim is to make delicious wines that give pleasure, revitalize, and revive.

Stockwell Cellars
Based in the Santa Cruz, California wine region, we have access to some of the most distinctive grapes in the world. We source ours from central coast viticulturists (grape-growers) dedicated to meticulous farming practices. We believe that wines should be an honest representation of the time and place where the grapes were harvested. Our wines are made with grapes harvested at a lower brix level, resulting in lower alcohol wines, and rely solely on wild, native yeast to facilitate fermentation, rather than using commercial yeast preferred by most winemakers. The result is truly complex and distinctive wines that showcase the subtle changes in the grapes of each vintage. As an urban winery, we’re not limited in the grapes we use. We often experiment with different taste profiles while remaining true to Old World styles. Visit us again to discover something new. Visit Website
Bottle Jack Winery
Bottle Jack is a small, family-run operation. Winemaker, John Ritchey, started Bottle Jack as a project while earning his enology degree from Fresno State University. He has continued to grow Bottle Jack while working on winemaking teams for a number of wineries located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and gaining experience abroad in Italy, France, Switzerland and Moldova. John’s large family supports him with the odds and ends of getting the job done such as driving harvest trucks, crushing and fermenting the juice, working the bottling line and pouring wines for our customers. Our hands are in every step of the process from grape to bottle. Visit Website

Humble Sea Brewing Co.
We are a tiny crew of kooks trying our hardest to firstly, get pitted on the reg, and secondly (and arguably more importantly) make the best beery liquid known to humankind. We’re here to forge new trails on the path of kookiness. We’re here to have an open conversation with our community about how to better our product, our team, and the world around us through equity, acceptance and fun. Visit Website
New Bohemia Brewing Co.
Our brewmaster made his first beer in a dorm room in Santa Cruz a few decades back. Since then, our brewers worked with and for dozens of breweries across the US West Coast, Europe, Japan and India. We’ve seen plenty of trends and fads take hold and fade over that time, and we’ve learned from each of them to inform our approach. We love all styles of beer, but it’s our appreciation of lagers and of traditional European brewing methods that make us unique. Our signature Pilsner Soquel captures the magic we found in beer halls in Central Europe, where fresh and unpasteurized lagers flowed straight from tanks to steins. But the techniques used to achieve the precision needed to make a great lager can also be applied with other styles–IPAs, Stouts, Hefeweizens–to create beers that are exceptional, exciting, and always fresh. Sante Adairius Santa Cruz Portal
We are a brewery founded on respect for quality and authenticity. We focus our attention on producing well-constructed beers with an eye towards simplicity and character. SARA takes liberty in emulating those memorable beers, their brewers, and the experiences they foster, never forgetting those giants on whose shoulders we stand.
Our approach to beer making is one of whimsy, highly inspired by the Belgian tradition, but also in harmony with brewers all over the world who push against boundaries of style with a nudge, not a shove. Often our beers are barrel-aged, usually in wine barrels, with various yeast and bacteria. As often as not though, Sante Adairius brews beers more approachable and traditional in nature, yet no less flavorful or distinctive.
Owned and operated by us, Adair Paterno and Tim Clifford, Sante Adairius Rustic Ales is our attempt to bring people together over great beer. SARA is an expression of our many years of beer geekery, the rabbit hole of tasting every beer we could get our hands on, and trusting we could contribute to the canon of those beers of the highest esteem. We believe great beer comes first. We stay true to our brewing roots. We take seriously the fact that we are brewing for you, and for ourselves. We appreciate your interest in our efforts. Sante!
